Tijay was a very strong little soul. The doctors at the hospital told my husband and I that he would not survive.

The doctors had suggested that I should think about having an abortion, but I had refused the idea and told them that I wanted to give him a chance at life. I am very glad I did because his life touched so many people in a very special way.

He had a smile that would make your heart melt and a personality that would make you laugh. He was a very cheeky boy. Every one that met him loved him and I am so lucky to have had him in my life. He had spent a lot of his life in the hospital and he used to flirt with the nurses by batting his eyes and smiling at them. They all loved him at the hospital too.

Tijays most favorite thing in the world was trees. ... so every time we look at the trees, we think of him and it brings comfort to our hearts.

Tijay is now in a better place with no more heart ache and he's now running free.
